BTCC Oulton Park - Race Day |

 The TH Motorsport Racing with JAG Team had a testing race day at the Oulton Park circuit. After experiencing problems in qualifying on Saturday, the Honda Integra engine finally suffered a major failure on the sighting lap before lining up on the grid for Race One. The car was recovered to the pitlane, but the work required would mean the car would be unable to take its place on the grid for the first two races.
The day wasn't over though, as the team worked flat-out to get the car ready for the final race of the day. Lining up on eleventh row of the grid for Race Three, John George survived the frantic opening laps and took the chequered flag in a solid 16th position. The next BTCC outing is at the daunting Croft circuit in two weeks time on the 14th June. |
