 Despite Matt Hamilton's problems in qualifying on Saturday, BTCC race day at Rockingham proved much more sucessfull. Race 1 saw the track drying after heavy rain overnight, making tyre choice difficult. After moving up to tenth in the opening laps, worn tyres saw Matt pit, eventually ending the race in 15th place. Conditions were much more predictable in Race 2, with a completely dry track. |
