 The high speed Thruxton circuit proved yet again to be a challenge during free practice and qualifying for tomorrow's Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship races, with the wet weather making driving conditions treacherous. Matt Hamilton ended the qualifying session in his TH Motorsport Honda Civic Type R with a best lap of of 1:29.045, an average speed of 95.25mph, good enough to line up on tomorrow's grid in 19th position .  TH Motorsport driver Matt Hamilton made an encouraging start to his BTCC campaign at the Brands Hatch Media Day official test. Matt clocked a best time of 49.639 secs around the Indy circuit, giving him the 14th fastest time of the day, just four tenths outside the top ten. Despite a minor off in the morning session, the day proved to be productive and demonstrated that both Matt and the TH Motorsport Honda Civic Type R have the potential to be competitive in 2010. |

 TH Motorsport have re-signed 20 year old rising star Matt Hamilton for this years Dunlop MSA Brritish Touring Car Championship . Matt made his debut with us at the end of 2009 in the BTC-spec Honda Civic Type R and targets points finishes in his first full season in the BTCC. TH Motorsport boss Trevor Humphrey said "This is a great deal and everyone in the team cannot wait to get started. We saw real potential in Matt last year and it has given all the boys in the team a real boost to have a driver in the car with this sort of potential. I feel certain that we are going to pull off a few major shocks this year". |
