The Indy Circuit is ideal for spectators and a real challenge for both driver and car. Tim Saunders will be battling for a class win (Class S1) in his TH Motorsport prepared Honda Civic Type R. |

Qualifying for the final round of this years British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch saw TH Motorsport rookie Matt Hamilton qualify just 1.8 seconds off pole position for tomorrows opening race in his Honda Type R, just behind BTCC veteran Anthony Reid. John George's TH Motorsport Racing with JAG Honda Integra is just two places back on the grid from Hamilton. With the BTCC title still up for grabs at the challenging Kent circuit, it looks like unmissable viewing on ITV4. 
Both TH Motorsport drivers experienced mixed fortunes during race day at Rockingham. Matt Hamilton started his first BTCC race from the pit lane in the Honda Civic Type R, whilst John George made it from the back of the grid to 17th in Race 1. The second race was even less kind to the TH Motorsport pair, with both cars ending the race early. John George's Integra had an unfortunate spin into the gravel just 2 laps into the race. 
TH Motorsport are a two car team at Rockingham, so this BTCC weekend looks like it will be hectic. Both John George and BTCC debutant Matt Hamilton didn't manage to maximise their qualifying potential and ended the session at the tail end of the grid. Both drivers are expecting better things during the three BTCC races tomorrow.
