clutch replacement
The function of a clutch is to separate the engine from the wheels allowing you to change gear and come to a complete stop while the engine is still running. A vehicle’s manualĀ clutch is made up of 3 main components – clutch plate, flywheel and pressure plate
Below are likely symptoms of a failing clutch:
- Vibrating, sticky or spongy clutch pedal when pressed
- Grinding or squeaking noise when depressing your clutch
- Clutch is slipping when your foot is off the clutch pedal
- Difficulty when changing gears
All clutch replacements are on a per quote basis and vary depending on vehicle make and model. The vehicle will need to be inspected in order to determine the fault. Please contact us to arrange a diagnostic appointment.
